Codemasters and EA have announced that the Portimao circuit is now available in EA Sports F1 22.
This is a free update that players on all platforms will be able to enjoy. Portimao (also known as Autodromo Internacional do Algarve) will see players going on hot laps around the circuit in Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes W13. Following a small break, the circuit that is well-known for its sharp descent before its final turn is now back in F1.
Leo Mather, F1 Senior Creative Director said: “We know our players love the thrill of competing on more circuits, and they don’t get much better than Portimao. Portimao is highly revered with a proud history, and our players will love the challenge of taking the 2022-designed cars onto the hallowed circuit for the first time.”
This isn’t the last update coming to the game, on the contrary! The next one is scheduled for September 12 and it will add the Shanghai International Circuit. Meanwhile, you can enjoy Portimao in EA Sports F1 2022 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC. You can check out the video below:
