The Serpent Rogue shows off its launch trailer
The game is out now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
Initially announced back in February, the game makes you take control of a mysterious character called The Warden. You’re tasked with slaying a corruption named The Serpent Rogue, and to do so, you’ll have to collect and research a whole bunch of different ingredients. Doing so will allow you to craft items and brew potions that will help you progress through the world.
Even though items and locations are heavily randomized, the choices you make will make a huge influence on the final outcome of the game. All actions that you make will have consequences and they can help you out or hinder your progress, so be extra careful. You can choose whether you want to help the world you’re living in or doom it.
The game offers many different ways to solve problems, including the already-mentioned alchemy open combat, and more. The Warden can also befriend or tame many of the world’s beasts. You’ll have to rely on all of these skills if you want to succeed in your mission and defeat The Serpent Rogue.
