The two companies dropped a launch trailer for the new season that should launch on May 10. The new season sees a new hero Newcastle joining the constantly expanding roster. The new Legend happens to be Bangalore’s brother, presumably dead during her search for him during the last Season.
Of course, that’s not true. He’s more alive than ever and he’s a defense-based Legend. As you can expect, Respawn will be giving us small bits of information in the next couple of weeks so we’ll have to wait for the full breakdown. That being said, judging by the story trailer, he’ll be using a small shield for close encounters, but it can also be transformed into a larger variant to defend the whole team if needed.
The chapter page also promises some changes to the Storm Front map with a focus on “The Downed Beast’. We’re also promised a rework of Ranked mode and it will be titled Ranked Reloaded. We should get more information about all of this in the near future.
We still have a couple of weeks left of the game’s previous Season, but in the meantime, expect more information on Apex Legends Season 13 Saviors on April 28. Until then, enjoy the trailer below.
