Dotemu have announced that their upcoming retro-inspired brawler Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is coming out at some point this summer. And we’ve also got a brand new trailer to gawk at.

Tribute Games have also announced that the original voice cast from the 1987 cartoon will be on board for this game as well. Yep, we’ll get to hear Cam Clarke as Leonardo, Rob Paulsen as Raphael, Townsend Coleman as Michelangelo, and Barry Gordon as Donatello.

They did a brand new dialogue for this game, including signature phrases and quips all in the name of making a true love letter to the original TMNT series. As the video that we posted last week showed, both Tribute and Dotemu are huge fans of the 1987 series and they really want to do everything right with this project.

The announcement also comes along with the announcement of a physical version. Dotemu will be teaming up with Merge Games in Europe and Limited Run Games in the US to deliver on that. We don’t know when the physical version will launch, but it shouldn’t be too long after the digital release.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will launch on PlayStation, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this summer. Once we have the exact release date, we will keep you updated.
