In World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, we’ll get to explore the Dragon Isles for the first time, and the expansion introduces four new zones for us to reside in - the Waking Shores, the Ohn’aharan Plains, the Azure Spa,n and Thaldraszus. We’re also getting a new class in the form of the Dracthyr and a new class Evoker. Note: only Dracthyr can become an Evoker.
Dracthyr can change between human and dragon forms and you’ll be able to customize both of them. Just like the Pandaren, you can choose whether you want to join the Horde or the Alliance and you can choose between two specializations. The first one is Devastation, which is basically a ranged DPS specialization (we didn’t get a new ranged DPS class in quite a while), but if damage-dealing is not your thing and if you prefer healing, you can choose Preservation. Dragonflight will also introduce a brand new form of aerial travel atop a Dragon Isles Drake.
The main game will be getting a massive overhaul with the new expansion as well. We’ll be getting a fully-reworked talent system and Blizzard promises better talent choices at all levels. The profession system will also be updated with player-driven work orders and brand-new equipment. Lastly, we can expect a new UI as well (it was about time, to be honest).
Along with World of Warcraft Dragonflight, Blizzard have also announced a new World of Warcraft: Classic expansion, and of course that is Wrath of the Lich King, the iconic 2008 expansion where we fight against arguably one of the most iconic game villains of all time – the Lich King himself. The Classic iteration brings some brand new features, which include the addition of Death Knights, a new profession (Inscription), and more. Achievements will now be reintroduced as well, and just like the previous WoW Classic expansions, your subscription plan will have the new Classic expansion covered as well.
