Frontier Developments have released the latest DLC for their zoo management simulator Planet Zoo – Wetlands Animal Pack.

The latest expansion adds eight new species to the game, including the gorgeous Capybara. On top of that, we can now see the Nile Lechwe, the Wild Water Buffalo, and Platypus, in our respective zoos. The DLC also adds a lot of new enrichment items that will be useful in our management adventures, including Underwater Feeder, Hot Water Tap, and a lot of others as well.

Naturally, we also have a brand new scenario, and this one will take us to the Pantanal region in Brazil. This is one of the largest and most diverse wetland ecosystems in the world, and we will get to rescue and care for a bunch of new animals who can’t reside in the wild anymore.

Along with the new expansion, the core game also gets a new free update that everyone can enjoy. This update also adds some new additions that you can use in your zoo, including a talking and roaming educator, and a new ‘Explore Cam’ mode that you can use to explore the zoo from the POV of one of your guests. If you’re interested, you can check out the full patch notes on the official Planet Zoo website.
