Square Enix are celebrating the launch of the highly-anticipated RPG remaster Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition with an appropriate trailer.

The 1999 PlayStation classic looks really awesome in this remake. The visuals got a massive HD overhaul, but we also have redesigned characters and brand new artwork as well. And in case you prefer a more retro style, you can always toggle the visual upgrades on and off with just a single touch of a button. So convenient!

The game also got a nice tune-up, with refined background music done by Yasunori Mitsuda. We also have a brand new song from the same composer + seven re-arranged tracks from the game even the 1996 prequel Radical Dreamers. The prequel actually got its first Western release right now.

In terms of gameplay, the game offers some additional quality of life features like the auto-battle function and some sweet battle enhancement features. You can now also turn off enemy encounters altogether if you want to focus on the story (and it’s really good, as expected). The PS4 version also comes along with a special PS4 theme that shows off the main characters, Serge and Kid.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is available now on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can check out the trailer below:
