To start the event, you just need to head over and speak to Jihli Aliapoh in Old Gridania (my favorite city in FF XIV, btw) at X:10.2 and Y:9.4. Just like all previous seasonal events, the questline will likely be very short, you’ll be able to repeat it as many times as you like, and you’ll be able to grab some nice rewards just for participating. Some of these rewards include the “eat egg” emote, eggsemplary basket, a hatching-tide mobile, and a gorgeous hatching bunny minion.
Final Fantasy XIV Hatching-tide is coming right after patch 6.1, Newfound Adventure, so if you’re looking for a reason to keep playing this awesome MMO (or return to the game, in case you’ve had a break), now you have it.
And for the end, here’s what patch 6.1 has to bring:
New Main story quests
Additional beast tribe quests
Crystalline Conflict, a PVP mode
The ultimate challenge (Dragonsong’s Reprise)
Ultima’s Bane unreal
New job adjustments
Myths of the Realm 24-person alliance raid
The return of Hildibrand in patch 6.15
A Tataru focused sidequest chain
Ishgardian housing
New adjustments for the Trust system (old dungeons included).
