Far Cry 6 is getting a Stranger Things crossover and a free weekend today
Now is the right time to get in.
The free DLC will be the last entry in the game’s series of crossover missions. Entitled ‘The Vanishing’, Dani will be heading to the Upside Down to relocate and find his missing canine companion Chorizo. You can expect a true “stealth-horror survival gameplay experience” that will also feature the infamous Demogorgon and locales inspired by the Netflix series.
As a bonus, we’re also getting a free weekend for Far Cry 6. You can already start pre-loading and then, from March 24, you’ll get access to the entire game without having to spend a cent. We’re getting the main game and all three pieces of crossover DLC that can be played both solo and in co-op mode. The free weekend lasts until March 27, and any progress you make here can be carried over if you decide to buy the game at a later point.
