Nintendo have dropped the first wave of DLC courses for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via the new Booster Course Pass on Nintendo Switch.

The first wave has eight courses in total and they’re all sorted into two cups of four tracks each. As they’ve already announced, all of these tracks are already featured in the previous Mario Kart games. The tracks are playable locally and in Friends and Rivals races starting from today. And on March 22, they will be added to the Random pool of courses in Global & Regional online races.

Here’s a list of tracks we can race on in Wave 1:

Golden Dash Cup

  • Paris Promenade (Mario Kart Tour)

  • Toad Circuit (Mario Kart 7)

  • Choco Mountain (Mario Kart 64)

  • Coconut Mall (Mario Kart Wii)

Lucky Cat Cup

  • Tokyo Blur (Mario Kart Tour)

  • Shroom Ridge (Mario Kart DS)

  • Sky Garden (Mario Kart: Super Circuit)

  • Ninja Hideaway (Mario Kart Tour)

We’ll be getting five more waves after this one, which will sum up 40 more additional courses. Nintendo have confirmed that all six waves will be out by the end of 2023.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is available now on the Nintendo eShop. It is also included with a Nintendo Switch Online and Expansion Pack membership.
