Nintendo have announced the release date for their RTS remaster Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp and that is going to be April 8.
They’ve also revealed some additional details about the bundle in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct presentation. For instance, all commanding officers in both campaigns are now fully voiced. Gameplay-wise, we can now fast-forward gameplay and even skip turns, if we’re limited on time.
There are plenty of additional modes in this package as well. The War Room will now let us take on skirmish battles and pick aspects from both games. We can then play these to get a new high score. The Design Room will let us create and design custom maps that we can then share online. And once we are connected, we can challenge our friends online or locally by using the multiplayer feature.
