They’ve also announced they will be holding an official showcase for the game tonight. Here’s what the description (that can be found at the bottom of the YouTube video) says: “Face the unknown in Ghostwire: Tokyo, launching March 25, 2022, on PlayStation 5.”

The description also gives us more insight into the game’s plot, as well as the name of the game’s protagonist. “In an instant, nearly all of Tokyo’s population vanishes, and paranormal Visitors from another world take their place in the streets. As Akito, one of the city’s last living humans, you must join forces with a spirit named KK to put an end to the supernatural threat encroaching on Tokyo.”

We should hopefully see some gameplay footage tonight as well. Then we will get a really good overview of what we can expect once the game launches. By the way, Tango Gameworks is in charge of the development, they’re the same folks who previously worked on The Evil Within so we can certainly expect a great game.

The presentation kicks off at 10 PM UK time and it can be followed via the PlayStation’s YouTube channel or the video below. Ghostwire: Tokyo is coming to PC and PS5 on March 25.
