The PlayStation Blog entry offers some insight into the remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for the new console. Here’s the crucial part: “For example, U4 helped us achieve a substantial improvement in almost every aspect of our animation. Our richly detailed cinematics was now able to play real-time, which helped pave the way for a seamless experience to and from gameplay. We also layered physics and procedural animations into our animations. All this helped create believable characters, tighter responsiveness, fluidity, and ability to respond to their environment, leading to a groundbreaking moment.”

We’ll be getting new fancy lighting effects and improved resolutions as well. On top of that, we can also play the game in 30 FPS, 60 FPS, and even 120 FPS if the screen supports it. Loading times are also way faster thanks to PS5’s SSD. If you’ve never played any of these games before, now is the right time to jump on board.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is coming to PS5 on January 28 and it will also be available on PC later this year. Make sure you check out the trailer below:
