GRID Legends shows off 40 minutes of story mode gameplay in a brand new footage
Driven to Glory.
You’ll take the role of a new face to the GRID World Series named Driver 22 (sounds more like a robot, but there you have it). You will get to race for the Seneca Racing Team and you will get to meet and race against a bunch of other drivers and teams on your journey. Ravenwest are the villains once again, but you will also race against drivers like Valentin Manzi.
The trailer also shows off some of the early chapters, framing the story as some kind of fly-on-the-wall documentary. We also see get to see the Seneca team principal Marcus Ado before taking on the first Rookie Driver Showcase Event. Previously mentioned Valentin Manzi is one of the first rivals that you will be racing against in the game and you will have to beat him a couple of times before you can progress.
You will also have to complete various objectives while focusing on the race itself as you progress through the story mode. Brad Kane, the same guy who previously worked on Ghost of Tsushima was in charge of Driven to Glory as well, so we have every reason to be optimistic.
GRID Legends is coming out on February 25 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. You can check out the full broadcast below:
