French developers Nova-Box have revealed that the post-climate apocalypse End of Lines will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC later in 2022.


Described as an “interactive graphic novel” the game tells the story of a family of survivors following a climate-based disaster. These survivors include Nora, Camille, their son Sam, and their ‘Uncle’ Rafik.  At the very beginning, our heroes lose everything and they’re forced to roam the devastated countryside of Southern Europe to find a new home to inhabit. Now it’s up to you to manage the supplies and morale of your group in order to survive this harsh new world.


As the developers say, all choices will matter and they will all have a consequence. Along the way, you’ll get to meet plenty of other characters and there will be hundreds of hand-drawn illustrations that you can gawk at.  They also promise a “powerful story featuring wonderfully written characters, stunning visuals, and a beautiful original soundtrack”.


End of Lines is coming on Nintendo Switch and PC at some point in 2022. You can watch the trailer below:
