Another year, another Picross game launches on Nintendo Switch. A tradition never changes. Picross S7 has just arrived on Nintendo Switch and it introduced a brand new feature – touchscreen controls. Hell yeah, baby!


Picross S7 has Jupiter introducing support for touchscreen controls. As a result, you can use either “Touch Toggle” or “Touch Hold” as input methods, so you no longer have to D-pad or stick your way around. And if that’s not enough, you can play the game like it’s 3DS all over again.


We also have a bunch of new Picross puzzles to solve. Picross S7 introduces 300 Picross and Mega Picross puzzles, 30 Color Picross, 150 Clip Picross, and five Extra puzzles that we can solve. That’s s staggering 485 puzzles in total + 3 additional ones that we can unlock with the play data from Picross S4, S5, and/or S6.


Other than adding touchscreen support, it’s really a Picross game at its best. If you’re into logic-based puzzle games, you’re ought to have a great time here.
