Happy New Year everyone! We have some awesome news to kickstart the gaming section in 2022 with style. Atlus used the holiday weekend to welcome everyone to 2022, and in a Famitsu article, they’ve also teased some unannounced games are waiting to be unveiled.


According to Atlus, (and as translated by Siliconera) 2022 will see them releasing several “surprise titles” that are yet to be announced. into its bursting catalog of modern classics. This year will also see Persona entering the “next phase” of its 25th-anniversary celebrations. The company also thanked fans for helping Shin Megami Tensei V reach 800 000 sales since release. The highly-anticipated JRPG sequel launched on Nintendo Switch back in November 2021, receiving huge praises from both fans and critics.


As for the rest of 2022, we know that Atlus are planning to re-release the 2013 fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax on PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch on March 17. On top of that, Persona 5 Strikers will be joining the PlayStation Plus service in a couple of days from now. Last but not least, the 2019 strategic adventure 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will also arrive to Nintendo Switch this April, which is great news for all of you Nintendo fans out there.
