SNK have unveiled the next fighter in their ever-growing roster for the upcoming The King of Fighters XV – Angel.
Angel is a series veteran, who was previously present in a number of KOF titles since The King of Fighters 2001. She’s a member of the secret organization called NESTS. They are a group of criminals with many of them being modified superhumans, who act as frequent antagonists in the long-running series.
She’s described as playful, but having the name ‘Knockout Free Spirit’ she’s always ready to deliver a good fight. She’s got plenty of kicks, and a few wrestling moves that can break any opponent.
Angel is the 39th addition to the game’s enormous roster. Four more characters are yet to be revealed, joining the previously announced fighters such as Iori Yagami, Meitenkun, and Andy Bogard. That brings the number of fighters to 43. Bloody hell, that’s massive!
The King of Fighters XV is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 17, 2022. You can check out the trailer below:
