Metal Gear Solid 2 and MGS will be removed from digital storefronts this week
But only temporarily.
Konami have announced they will be temporarily removing Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 from digital storefronts starting from…well, right now.
As they’ve stated in the announcement, the reason for the removal is so that the developer can renew all licenses and “select historical archive footage” that we can see in the game.
Konami says this is a temporary decision, so they should be back soon enough, but we don’t know when just yet.
Here is a list of games in question:
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD Edition for PlayStation 3
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD Edition for PlayStation 3
Metal Gear Solid HD Edition for PlayStation 3
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD Edition for PlayStation Vita

Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D for Nintendo 3DS
