Konami have announced that they will be delaying their 0.9.1. patch for eFootball 2022 into early November. The reason? They need to improve the experience.

The update was supposed to launch on October 28, but a recent update from the game’s official Twitter account over the weekend informed us of the delay. “We would like to inform all users that we have decided to delay the release of 0.9.1 to early November. We sincerely apologise for the delay and the inconvenience caused. Our hope is that the additional time taken will allow us to ensure the experience is improved for all of our users.”

No more details were given for the delay. It’s been one hell of a ride for the game since launch last month. Konami’s original rollout plan included Online Leagues, Team Building modes, and more for late Autumn. At this point, it’s safe to say these plans are postponed for the time being but we are yet to hear more from Konami.

We have no specific date for the new update in the announcement, but as it stands now, we will have to wait until “early November” before the patch drops. Let’s hope it will be worth waiting.
