Bomb Rush Cyberfunk confirmed for Nintendo Switch as a timed exclusive
Time for some cyber…funk.
Team Reptile have announced that the spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is coming to Nintendo Switch.
The studio made this announcement during last night’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase when they also said the game will be a timed console exclusive on Nintendo Switch. That won’t last too long, however, as the trailer description literally says that “other platforms follow about a week later.”
The team also revealed that we’ll be able to navigate the surroundings via the skateboard. So now, along with wall-running, rollerblades, and rocket-powered boots, you will have one more option to move around the city.
The game was initially unveiled last summer, and as promised, you will get to skate around a sprawling metropolis, spray tags, and pull up various tricks while dodging the cops who will do their best to stop you. Once you’ve painted enough graffiti, you will have the opportunity to challenge opposing crews in an attempt to take their territory. Famous Japanese composer Hideki Naganuma who did the soundtrack for the first two Jet Set Radio games is involved this time as well, and that’s another great thing worth mentioning.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022. You can check out the trailer below:
