If you were wondering what lies ahead for arguably one of the most popular multiplayer shooters.
Destiny 2, you might get some answers next month as Bungie have announced a new Destiny 2 showcase for August 24.
For now, we have one tweet with the message “survive the truth”. It doesn’t reveal much, but it’s certainly a good cliffhanger.
The next expansion The Witch Queen has been pushed back to 2022, so it will be really interesting to see what Bungie has in store this time. They’ve mapped out two years of the game’s content and they have a bunch of features of narrative efforts planned across both The Witch Queen and the expansion that follows after that (Lightfall).
I haven’t played Destiny 2 in a while, but I’ll have to change that in the near future.
