Devolver Digital and Free Lives have just unveiled their next collaboration with "reverse city-builder" Terra Nil coming out to PC later this year.

In this game, you will need to rebuild a desolate wasteland, and you'll need to bring greenery back to life. You'll also get to recycle all the buildings and structures you used to get there to leave the world in a verdant state.

As we're promised, the game will feature multiple different regions and each of them will have its own "flavor and procedural generation palette" and we are also getting hand-drawn visuals "inspired by the work of Studio Ghibli" and a laid-back soundtrack to complete the game's mellow aesthetic that you can see in the video below.

The game has no firm release date just yet, but Free Lives and Devolver have confirmed that the game will be featured as a part of the Steam Next Fest and there will be a playable demo on the platform on PC starting from June 16.
