Ubisoft Montreal have announced that their co-op shooter Rainbow Quarantine now has a new name and it will be known as Rainbow Six Extraction going forward.

Some social media profiles and brief videos already announced the name change beforehand in February, and back then, we thought the new name would be Parasite. But soon enough, Ubi denied those rumors and now we finally have a legit name.

Other than the name change, the team promises a "modern tactical co-op shooter" where you will be fighting an "always evolving alien threat". The first gameplay video will be shown off at Ubisoft Forward as a part of E3 2021, which is scheduled for Saturday. June 12 at 8 PM UK time.
