During the latest State of Play stream, Sony gave an update on a pair of indie games, and sure enough, one of them was Subnautica: Below Zero. Namely, along with some new (and impressive) footage, we also got a confirmation that a PS5 upgrade that "targets 60 FPS" is coming to the next-generation console shortly. And that's not all - the original Subnautica will get a free PS5 upgrade as well. What a nice gesture indeed!
As explained on the PlayStation Blog: "If you already own a physical or digital version of the first Subnautica on PS4, you'll be able to upgrade to the digital PS5 version at no additional cost." The same applies to Subnautica: Below Zero that is coming out on May 14.
Now is the right time to get into Subnautica if you haven't done so already. As for me, well...I guess I could replay both games.
