An upgrade to the previous maximum of 720p.

PlayStation have announced that they will be rolling out support for streaming 1080p compatible games from this week.

Until recently, the subscription service only allowed streaming games capped at a maximum resolution of 720p. Going forward, however, you'll be able to enjoy all compatible PS4 titles in 1080p on both PS4 and PS5.

You can download your games on PlayStation Now if you want as well. At this point, we don't know what the recommended internet speeds are to experience this high resolution, but the feature will roll out in all regions worldwide in the next couple of weeks.

Looking forward to these endless gaming nights in 1080p!
