Before I Forget is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch next week
The struggles with dementia in an interactive form.
3-Fold Games have announced that their BAFTA-nominated exploration game Before I forget is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X'S, and Nintendo Switch next week.
The game was initially released on PC last summer and it's basically a narrative exploration adventure that lets you take control of Sunita, a woman who lives with early-onset dementia. This is the dominant theme of the game, and as you make progress, you will get to piece together Sunita's past and unravel the mystery behind her condition. The game developers cooperated with mental health professionals and Gaming the Mode organization to ensure an accurate representation of what living with dementia looks like. They really succeded with that one.
