Platinum Games announce shoot'em up Sol Cresta for Switch, PS4, and PC

It will have 4K support and enhanced textures, of course.

Bayonetta and Nier: Automata developer Platinum Games have just released a new trailer for the upcoming shoot em up Sol Cresta and they confirmed that the game will launch on PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.


The game was announced last year as a part of the "Platinum 4" (Project GG was also announced recently) as a successor to 1980's arcade titles Terra Cresta and Mooncresta. There were some speculations that this announcement could have been an April Fool's joke, but nonetheless, the game has been rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea. So yeah, it seems legit.


We have no release date just yet but the game could arrive later this month (at least judging by what we can see in the trailer). You can see it in action below:
