It's been a while since we had Asterix and Obelix roaming our screens. The XXL trilogy was great and The Galic War was pretty good as well. The good news is, a new game with our favorite Gauls in the lead role is currently in development.
Mr Nutz Studio is working on a brawler titled "Asterix and Obelix: Slap Them All "(what a fitting name), and the game is set for release on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The publisher rights are given to Microids.
Based on what we know right now, this will be a "pretty straightforward" beat-'em-up and it will have local co-op support. We will get the chance to visit "the most iconic places in the comic book series" and we will fight against "legionaries, pirates, brigands, and even the dreaded Normans." Sign me up!
