Tribute Games and Dotemu have announced that they ae working on a new side-scrolling beat-em-up set in the TMNT universe and the game will be released on consoles and PC. The title is fitting - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge. That guy just never gets tired of losing!


The game will feature the familiar visuals from the 1987 version of the TMNT (we all love that one), but it will also harken back to the 1991 SNES classic Turtles in Time. We are getting new abilities "built on a foundation of classic brawling mechanics" that will see our green heroes going from the streets of New York through to Dimension X where they will fight many familiar names that we know recognize, including Bebop, Rocksteady, and at the end, Shredder himself. We don't have the exact launch date yet, but we will keep you updated.
