Capcom have announced that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will launch on PC and Nintendo Switch in July.


The cute anime-flavored RPG is a sequel to the 2016 Nintendo 3DS game Monster Hunter Stories, and it follows the story of Rider as he investigates the mass disappearances of Rathalos from around the world. Along the way, he will have to team up with a mysterious egg-holding Wyverian girl named Ena, and that's when things get really interesting.


The game will have its own Amiibo based on Ena, Razewing Ratha, and Tsukino, which will unlock a new, special-layered armor later on in the game. If you link your save data from Monster Hunter Rise, you'll also get the chance to wear a special Kamura Garb armor.


Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is coming to Nintendo Switch on July 9. You can check out the trailer below:
