The Mega Man movie is still a thing

We knew that the movie about our favorite blue bomber is coming at some point, but for some time, we had no news about the project at all and we thought it might be dead. But, luckily for us, the movie is still alive and well according to co-directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. Phew!


They spoke to IGN and confirmed that we have a new writer on board (Mattson Tomlin who worked on Project Power) and they've added that the project is still moving forward. The team is "super excited" about the new addition and they "think [they're] going to have some big news", No promises, though.


Really looking forward to seeing how this movie turns out. I would love to see another successful story just like the one that the Sonic movie had. Fingers crossed!
