Last month, Bungie announced the next expansion for Destiny 2, and this month we have a delay.

The team said that Beyond Light will definitely miss the original September 22 release date and the expansion will now be released on November 10 instead. The studio also added that they are "doing what's best for the game". While the delay is not a small one, Bungie said that working from home was a tough challenge, so given the circumstances, this outcome was inevitable.

Bungie also plans to reveal "more of what [they've] been working on for Beyond Light" and that applies to current content cadence as well. We know that the season will be extended until November 10 (when the new expansion is coming out) but more details will follow.

It won't be easy to wait until November but there's always something awesome to do in this game, so yeah, we should survive (somehow).
