We have some good and some bad news. Let's start with the good news first - Capcom just announced a Mega Man VR game. Hooray! The bad part? It's a region exclusive and you can only play it in Japan. What a bummer!

The game will be location exclusive as well and that place is Capcom's store at Plaza Ikebukuro - an "entertainment plaza" that opened last year. At this point, Capcom has no intention to launch the game on home devices.

The story itself is intriguing, yet it's a classic Mega Man story. Dr. Wily is up to no good again and he's trying to hack the VR world so it's up to our blue bomber to fight back. The only way he can do that is by using a special VR technology developed by Dr. Light. A fitting plot for a game like this, isn't it?

You can check out the game at Plaza Ikebukuro starting from July 18. Demos will run from 10 AM JST through 9:45 PM JST.
