Twitch is now banning streamers following assault and abuse allegations

Twitch has begun banning streamers and other content creators with a large number of sexual assaults and abuse allegations.

No names were mentioned but we can see that a Twitter account recorded the bans of the following names - BlessRNG, DreadedCone, iAmSp00n, WarwitchTV, and Wolv21. Twitch issued the following statement on the matter - "We've prioritized the most severe cases and will begin issuing permanent suspensions in line with our findings immediately. In many of the cases, the alleged incident took place off Twitch, and we need more information to make a determination."

To support everyone affected by harassment, Twitch is planning to create new tools to communicate when the act itself is happening. ameliorate its policies, and develop special detection tools for offensive words used in stream chats.
