Final Fantasy XIV is one of the best MMOs on the market at the moment and it's a game that gets you hooked in instantly. Square Enix did a brilliant job yet again, no doubt about that. If you're a PS4 player and you want to join the party, you now do that for free without having to pay anything.
Square Enix and Sony have teamed up and made a deal that allows the players to download the "Starter Edition" of the game for free on PS4 until May 26. In the usual scenario, you would pay 20 bucks and that would include the base Realm Reborn campaign along with the 30-day free time, but this offer is much better as, well, you won't have to pay anything.
In case you want to continue your quest after you hit the level cap, you will need to pick-up the Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers expansions to make that happen. But hey, at least the vanilla experience is free!
