Fancy a new Worms game? Hell yeah! Even though the transition from 2D to 3D made the franchise lose some of its original appeal (though, again, it depends on the player and their preferences), the franchise is still iconic as ever. As a long-time Worms veteran, I am glad to hear that we are getting a new Worms game this year.
Team 17 promises substantial changes this time around. They posted an official tweet where they announced the new game, saying that "the worms are back in 2020 like you've never seen them before. New worms, new ways to play."
We can't really see what changes will be implemented based on the video, though it does show some real destruction. True Worms-style. That's what I really like. You can take a look at the teaser here:
