Back in October, Riot Games have announced a lot of interesting projects but the one that really stands out is a 5v5 shooting project that was initially called Project A. Well, now we know that the real name of the game is going to be Valorant.


Valorant can be described as a "stylish, competitive, character-based tactical shooter for PC." Basically, something like Overwatch, but....a bit different. And with some CS-like mechanics. Riot promises "128-tick servers" and "at least 30 FPS" on old configurations but the real goal is something between 60 and 144 FPS on modern rigs. Sounds perfect.


We are also promised unique character-based gameplay and we even have a trailer of early alpha footage as well. More info is expected to roll out soon, but hey, we already have a lot, don't we?
