Streets of Rage 4 is now playable at PAX East
A fifth character is about to be revealed...along with "a little surprise".

DotEmu have announced that they will reveal the fifth playable character and a "little surprise" for the highly-anticipated fighting game, Streets of Rage 4. The announcements will come during the PAX East event and the game will also be playable at that point. Suh-weet!
We know that Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, Adam Hunter, and Cherry will be playable and now we are waiting to find out who the last addition to the roster will be. Could it be Max or Dr. Zan? Anything is possible! And I bet that the surprise will be a release date, but we are yet to see that.
Streets of Rage 4 is coming out this year on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
