Brace yourselves, Grand Theft Auto IV is coming back to Steam. Yes, you heard me, the mega-popular Rockstar hit will be available on the platform again, following its initial disappearance back in January. Both Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes From Liberty City will return as a single release - Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition. The date has been set for March 19.

There will be some changes here. As we no longer have Games for Windows Live, this version of GTA IV will lose its online functionality as well as its official multiplayer mode and leaderboards. Due to license expiration, some radio stations (RamJam FM, Self-Actualization FM, and Vice City FM), though it appears that this is only a temporary issue.

Speaking of good things, your old save game files will be fully compatible with Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition. That applies to both the main game and Episodes From Liberty City. For a full list of changes, make sure you check out the game's official Steam page.
