A new tweet on the official Call of Duty Twitter might be teasing the return of a well-known character from Modern Warfare 2. Yes, it's none other than the super-soldier, Ghost. In a small video teaser, Captain Price calls our beloved veteran back to the fight.
"Ghost" is the call-name of a British army operative, Simon Riley who debuted in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 back in 2009. Even though that was the only game he appeared in (thus far at least) he quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his sinister appearance and a true badass attitude. Many fans wanted to see him back and now it appears that these needs will be pleased.
Ghost would be making a re-appearance in future games like Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty Online, but he is also teased for the finale of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019). Make it happen, guys, please!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
