Sad news coming from CD Projekt RED. The company just announced that the highly-anticipated RPG will be delayed by five months and the new release date is September 17.
The news has been announced via Twitter and here's what they had to say: "We are currently at a stage where the game is complete and playable, but there's still work to be done. We want Cyberpunk 2077 to be our crowning achievement for this generation and postponing launch will give us the precious months we need to make the game perfect."
While many of us are saddened by this information, it's perfectly normal and natural to want more time to polish everything perfectly. We certainly wish them the best of luck!
Cyberpunk 2077 will now launch on September 17 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
