Capcom have announced that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion has raked in more than four million copies until the present moment. That includes all three different formats and both the physical and digital forms. Capcom have announced this information with great pride, and naturally, they have every reason to express their happiness.

The snowy expansion was released back in September but the PC version was only released last week. The core game sold more than 18 million copies since its release in January (an already impressive number) and this can be seen as just another feat worth celebrating. The game is now officially Capcom's most successful release ever and that's certainly impressive.

In an official blog statement, Capcom said that they intend to grow the brand even more in the future. They also mentioned the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne XR Walk attraction opening at Universal Studios Japan as well as the movie adaption that is set to come this December. A future looks bright indeed!

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
