Sony have officially unveiled the PlayStation 5 logo during the CES 2020 press conference, but sadly had little to say about the console itself.

We did get a promise that more things are coming our way, though.

Here's what the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan said on-stage: "There's much more to share about PlayStation 5 in the months ahead, and we look forward to revealing more details, including the content that will showcase the platform and the future of gaming." He didn't specify a date, though, but it should be announced soon.

Ryan also recapped some of the PS5's strongest selling points, including high-speed SSD, Ultra HD Blu-ray support, and a brand new controller with adaptive triggers. That's all we got, but hey, it's better than nothing.

PS5 is coming out this holiday season (in other words, soon-ish).
