Final Fantasy VII Remake will be a PS4 exclusive until 2021
We waited this long, we can wait one more year. Not a big deal.

Even though Xbox Germany initially announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake could be released on Xbox One, Square Enix denied those rumors. They stated that no other platforms are being planned, but right now, it seems that these plans changed. As can be seen on the Square Enix store, the boxart now says "Play First on PS4" and we can also see the following text - "Timed Exclusive until 3/3/21."
This comes as no surprise, and to be honest, I felt that there will be a change of plans. After all, PS4 is not the only platform where Final Fantasy fans can be found, so yeah, I knew that Square won't let us down. Some of us may need to wait one year longer to get our fingers on it, but it will pay off. It has to!
