ID Software and Bethesda have just dropped the official announcement trailer for Doom 64, a remaster of the cult classic from 1997 and it's quite neat as expected.


Doom 64 was (and still is) a true masterpiece. It was visually one of the most impressive games at the time and the gameplay was highly innovative. While the latter games in the franchise improved some aspects of the original, the truth is, Doom wouldn't be such a franchise that it is now without this game. It's also worth mentioning that this was also one of the main reasons why people were buying a Nintendo 64. As if Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 weren't enough.


Doom 64 will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 22 and on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 20, 2020. The trailer is right here:
