Doom Eternal is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games at the moment, and sadly, you'll need even more patience to finally put your hands on it. As it was announced on the official Twitter account of the game, Doom Eternal has now been delayed to March 2020. As they've said, the game needs to live up to "their standards of speed and polish", and that's the main reason for the delay.

We have compensation, though - you can now preorder Doom 64 on all platforms and that game will arrive at the same time as Doom Eternal (March 20 next year, that is). It's something, at least.

As it stands now, Doom Eternal will launch on March 20, 2020 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Switch version will be released soon after that.
