As Eurogamer reported, Minecraft is getting its own character creator as a part of the next update. At the moment, the feature is being trialed in the beta build. Of course, we already had the option to customize the appearance of our blocky characters with downloadable skins, but this feature should (hopefully) add much more options to the table.

The beta is currently available on Android, Xbox One, and Windows 10 but the patch notes offer enough hints on what players can expect from this tool. Personalization options will include body size, as well as shape and limb replacement. On top of that, we are getting some new mouths, eyes, hairstyles, and even skin tones. More than 100 customization options will be totally free while the rest will come with a price tag. But don't worry, it won't be big!
