As soon as we found out that Samurai Shodown is coming to Nintendo Switch, we knew that we are in for some visual compromises. And now that we have the first trailer, we can confirm that the game will run at 60 FPS, and while we didn't expect to see another Mortal Kombat 11, the visuals are disappointing. Not surprising though, Switch can't keep up with much more powerful PS4 and Xbox One hardware.


It's not a huge disaster though. The characters look nice and the animations are fluid. I don't think that Switch players will lose a lot, but of course, they need to tone down their expectations.


All additional characters from the season pass will be available in-game, but sadly, they won't be free. The only exception is Shizumaru Hisame, but that was expected.
