The first faction to be unveiled in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is an old-fashioned group of veterans called Pioneers.
The name is quite self-explanatory, really. This was the first family of vampires to arrive in Seattle. Due to their extreme appreciation of the old world, they are losing control over the city at the present moment. Many different clans have banded together to reclaim their home and they won't waste any resources to achieve their ultimate goal.
As a player, you can choose which faction you will ally with, and which factions will be your enemies in the game. This decision will have a huge impact on the overall gameplay as well as the future of the city.
